POST PANDEMIC FASHION FORECAST
This pandemic has torn a multi billionaire into ripped fabrics and small business owners into rags, while this can be majorly said as 3rd world war. During the 1st world war fashion industry saw a great shift and placed itself in the market where as the post 2nd world war was more horrifying yet the fashion industry overcome this challenge with new initiatives and creatives. But what about the post pandemic or as we say 3rd world war? This industry is going to see its biggest loop now but there are still hopes as the creative mind doesn’t stop by challenges.
Now, amid hopes to near normality by the year’s end the consumers are asking what fashion will look like as it dusts itself off from the heating wave of virus. The impact of pandemic will not change the attitude of its holder to stop itself from evolving and glowing. Here are some basic changes that we might expect from the foot walker of this industry.
· Fashion influencer will change: As they are already forced to adjust their content, Soon, there will be some really great and useful content rather than a glamor put on makeups and heavy accessories. They will start drifting towards basic fashion need rather than luxury stylizations.
· New shopping pattern: we hope to see a new shopping pattern from all national and international companies as now the profit level is depleting like the water level from the sea. They have to start adapting new online merchandise and strengthen the eCommerce platform.
· Strengthening of AI & tech: now the in-store stylist will be changed to automated or in-built stylist in any website or an app. We do hear the “smart” voice command coming into feature to stylize your wardrobe and every outfit.
· Recycling of fashion: recycling of every fashion outfit will come into glam light as the influencers, designers and soon the celebrities will start adapting the new change and come forward with the solution of every fashion outfit to recycle.
· We will see less bling and more simple clothing: after the post pandemic the designers will come forward with new trends which is simple in style since now, we are very comfortable with our over used pajamas and casual wear. So sudden jump to being chic will not seem like a good idea for each one of us as a consumer.
· Ready to wear will over shadow custom made: both designers and consumer will be demanding more and more garments once everything comes to normal and hence the company will focus on making faster and larger production of garments and hence the role of custom-made dress will be silent for a while.
· Sales and discount offers will come into existence: after post pandemic to survive the designers and brands are likely to adopt some aggressive policies to run into competition and manage their brand image in the market, they need to play it safe and wise. But a goo thing for us as a consumer is our shopping list are going to be wild and crazy after the price drop.
Such will be the post pandemic scene in the fashion industry while we are soon going to face some great challenges but one thing is for sure and that is no matter what we are going to win this challenge with flying colors let’s stay hopeful while spreading love and positivity around us.
